I have lead numerous hikes over the past four years and every so now and then people get turned around. One of reason for this is that they are not keeping up with the group, or they to busy talking and not keeping track of the trail then losing track of the other hikers. I try my best to keep in touch with my hikers and sometimes have felt like a hen keeping track of the chicks. If it is a large group that can end up being a difficult task to do.
When hiking in Boquete wear hiking boots; some trails are rocky and the soil ashy, hiking stick will help you go up and down steep areas such as going over fallen trees, and long pants if going into the rain forest area especially during the rainy season.
