But let's forget about the rain and continue with hiking during the dry season during the summer here! It is beautiful with blue skies, a nice breeze, and plenty of sunshine. In Boquete it is green well, it depends where you live or are staying. In the late afternoon the clouds begin to roll, they are beautiful, some are white and fluffy as they dangle below the Volcan Baru or in the center of a hill. It is just totally breathtaking. Some of the hikes are breathtaking as well whether in the rainforest or areas.
We have our choice during the dry season to hike anywhere in the Boquete area. Our choices are the rainforest which are perfect during this time of the year. Rainforests are always damp with a bit of mud; thus the name rainforest. The other trails, well are just as good and on the roads less traveled which are old country roads with bits of stones and packed dry clay which is perfect for this time of the year. During the rainy the clay becomes as slick as ice and a risk to walk on.
The group meets at 8 a.m. then carpool to the trail head, by 8:45, we are on the trail. We enjoy hiking and want to show and share with everyone the beauty of Boquete.
Hope to see you on the trail one day here in Boquete. interested in hiking email me.
